The Hospital

Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital was approved as a Veterinary Hospital when built in 1980. The practice specialises in the medical and surgical care of companion animals (dogs, cats, birds and wildlife). Accommodation is available for up to 20 pets at a time.

The facility consists of a reception area, two consulting rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, radiography room, kennel room, surgery preparation area, operating theatre, isolation area, offices, staff room, kitchen, bathroom and toilets. Equipment for surgery, hospitalisation, intensive care, radiology, ultrasound, E.C.G., dental care, grooming, and many pathology tests are available at the hospital. Other pathology tests are sent to a specialist veterinary pathology laboratory. Record keeping is fully computerized.
