The Vets

Dr Robert Bennett

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1980 with honours, and apart from a short time back at uni doing post-graduate studies, have spent my working life in small animal practice. Before I became a partner at WMVH, I was in my own practice at Bardon. From there, I went to the UK with my wife and two year old twins to do a six month locum in Kent. Nearly four years later, I came back to take a partnership at WMVH with Tom, who has been a friend since uni. I have three dogs; a Golden Retriever, a Silky Terrier and a Chihuahua cross, two oriental cats, dozens of fish and a turtle.

Dr Tom Gradwell

Brisbane-born and educated (at University of Qld with Bob Bennett). I practised in Adelaide upon graduating before returning to work at the University of Qld Veterinary Clinic and Hospital. I then moved to Wynnum in 1984 to join the practice. I have spent the last 30 years honing my veterinary skills and losing my hair. Keeper of two hyperactive cats and a father of two adult offspring.

Dr Nicole Thomas

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2001 with honours. I spent my first three and a half years in a small animal practice in Bundaberg before joining the team at WMVH in July 2005. I am the mother of a little girl who already demonstrates an intense love of animals, especially our very tolerant Poodle cross.
