Dr Steven graduated from the University of Queensland in 2002. After a period working in small animal practice in Brisbane, he travelled to the UK where he spent the next eight years working in and around Essex, London and Surrey. During this time he treated dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters and the occasional goat!

Clinically, Dr Steven has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery and ultrasonography. He has received advanced training in these fields.

Upon returning to Brisbane, Dr Steven spent time as a locum vet before joining Wynnum Manly Veterinary Hospital in March 2014. He is the father of two young sons and the owner of two cats and three chickens.
